Remembering - Donna Summer - Queen of Disco

I remember when I first seen Donna Summer in 1975 singing "Hot Stuff" on TV.

I was dancing to her music the first time I heard it.

Her producer "Georgio Moroder" a legend in his own rights had seen and heard Donna sing Gospel music. He decided to be her producer. Donna sing music like "Marilyn Monroe".

And that was to make music sound sexy by cooing the words!

In 1980 just after five years of her first performance she had a breakdown.

She had became a born again Christian and had renouced Disco. But by that time disco had died out anyway.

Donna was 63 and she died of Cancer.

In 2009 was her last performance on stage.

She was born in 1948.
I am mourning as I watch these videos of Donna below. I grew up listening to Donna Summer.

Loved the first Donna Summer album I had of her, and the others!

Donna, you will be missed, and you will NEVER be forgotten. Rest in peace and be assured that your legend will live forever because your music will live forever!
Much love.
